1 The Agreement

SparrowTune ("App", "we", "our", "us") is a mobile and web application owned and operated by Eaglence Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SparrowTune — on any platform including iOS, Android, or web — you ("User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eaglence Technologies Private Limited. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2 Services Provided

SparrowTune provides executive-level business intelligence for the global music industry, including:

• Music Industry News Feed — Curated, real-time news from across the global music business, including record labels, publishing, distribution, and technology sectors.
• Global Conference & Events Directory — A comprehensive, searchable calendar of music industry conferences, summits, trade shows, and networking events worldwide.
• Music Business Job Board — Specialised listings for executive and professional roles across the music industry value chain.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at our discretion, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

3 Subscriptions & Billing

SparrowTune operates on a freemium model. Pro subscription plans are available for purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase within the App.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each billing period.
• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective billing terms.
• To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancellation must be done through your device's App Store or Play Store subscription settings — not through the App itself.
• Cancelling stops future renewals but does not result in a refund for any unused portion of the current period.
• Eaglence Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice.

4 Refund Policy

This includes, but is not limited to: partial subscription periods, unused time remaining in a billing cycle, change of mind, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction with features. By completing a purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

Refund requests related to App Store or Google Play billing errors must be directed to Apple or Google respectively, as those purchases are processed and managed by those platforms.

5 User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit any content from the App without prior written consent.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract content from SparrowTune.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with any part of the App or its infrastructure.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content, including fraudulent job listings or event information.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limitations or access controls.
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the App's servers, networks, or services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these conduct standards.

6 Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, trademarks, logos, code, and compiled data within SparrowTune are the exclusive intellectual property of Eaglence Technologies Private Limited, unless attributed to a third party.

Third-party news headlines and article references remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. SparrowTune aggregates publicly available information for informational purposes and links to original sources. We do not claim ownership over third-party content.

7 Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

SparrowTune is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information in the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eaglence Technologies Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from your use of the App — including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

8 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SparrowTune at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time through the App Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10 Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account data — Email address, username, full name (optional), and password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text).
• Professional profile — Company name, role/title, country, and phone number (all optional, provided by you at your discretion).
• Usage data — Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the App, used to personalise and improve your experience.
• Device data — Device type, operating system, and app version, used for debugging and compatibility.
• Payment data — Subscription tier and status only. We do not store full payment card details; all payment processing is handled by Apple or Google.

11 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain session security.
• Personalise your news feed, job board, and event recommendations.
• Process and manage your subscription.
• Send transactional communications (e.g. account confirmations, password reset emails).
• Diagnose technical issues and improve App performance and reliability.
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

12 Third-Party Sharing

We use a limited number of essential third-party service providers solely to operate the App (e.g. cloud hosting, push notifications, payment processing). These providers are contractually obligated to process your data only on our behalf and only as necessary to deliver their services. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

13 Data Security

We take your privacy seriously. SparrowTune employs industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for all App communications.
• Passwords stored using bcrypt hashing — we cannot read or recover your password.
• JWT-based session authentication with version control to invalidate compromised tokens.
• Restricted database access with role-based controls.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

14 Account Deletion & Your Rights

How to delete your account:

• Open SparrowTune → Profile tab → Account Settings → Delete Account.
• Confirm with your password. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

You also have the right to access, correct, or export your personal data. To make such a request, contact us at the email address below.

15 Children's Privacy

SparrowTune is intended for professionals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

16 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may notify you via the App or by email. Your continued use of SparrowTune after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
